On Tuesday, KIRO 7 will interview Amanda Knox following the release of Hulu’s new documentary, “Mouth of the Wolf: Amanda Knox Returns to Italy.”
The film documents her first return to Italy after more than 15 years since her wrongful conviction in the murder case of Meredith Kercher, her roommate.
Ms. Knox, originally from Seattle, spent four years in prison before being fully acquitted in 2015.
The documentary, released on Monday, follows her as she confronts painful memories—including a rare meeting with the prosecutor who initially put her behind bars.
KIRO 7 has closely followed Ms. Knox’s case for many years, traveling across the ocean to Italy to attend trials on numerous occasions.
In 2022, KIRO 7 reporter Monique Ming Laven spoke with Ms. Knox, revealing exclusive details about the changes in her life since her conviction.
KIRO 7 also spoke with her about her advocacy work, which has contributed to clarifying and overturning other wrongful convictions:
